Parparim construction

in addition to our Purim activities this week, we have been spending a lot of time with building toys. You can see that we are developing our fine motor skills as well as working on problem solving and cooperation. When your child is building at home, let them make mistakes so they can see what happens. When you see their structure about to fall, let it fall. Then ask them why they think it fell and what could they do differently next time. Guide they through the process. Suggest reasons it might have fallen if needed. Before you know it they’ll be building cities!
