This Friday it was our turn to be the Shabbat class. We had the honor of greeting the other classes as they arrived for our weekly Shabbat celebration. We also helped bless the candles, wine and challah. Because this week was also Simchat Torah, the cantor took the Torah out of the ark. We all got to see her read from it and then the whole school sang and danced around. It was a very special week to be the Shabbat class.
